Jessica Johnson graduated from Marymount Manhattan College in NYC with a BA in
Art History. She had always had a passion for film and immediately began
working in the art department on feature films. These films included
Faithful and Meet Joe Black. After gaining experience in the art department,
she wanted to learn more about the entire scope of filmmaking. She then
worked in the production and accounting departments on several films
such as The Devil's Own, Sleepers, The Cradle Will Rock, Almost Famous,
Miss Congeniality and The Producers. After 10 years in New York, Jessica
relocated to beautiful Bozeman, Montana. She now works as a production
manager for a commercial production company and does freelance work on
films. She also volunteers as a Mentor Coordinator for HATCHfest, an
arts festival that focuses on pairing aspiring filmmakers, musicians
and designers with experienced professionals or "mentors". She is thrilled
to be working with Zena Dell Lowe, Michelle Allsopp and Emma Lynn; three
women with like passions for the art of filmmaking.
